You can change or cancel your appointment via the link in your confirmation email or by calling us.
Alterations
How long do alterations take?
All alterations can be delivered within 10-14 days. We charge a 30%-50% additional rush fee for inquiries under a week.
How much will the alterations cost?
Our in-house tailors provide suggestions according to individual body types and fit preferences. For an accurate quote, please bring your garments to our store for a personal assessment of your needs and original garment design.
Are you able to alternate garments made of leather?
We don't work with leather garments because that is not our specialty.
Can you help me alternate my wedding dresses?
Please e-mail us pictures of the garment, fit concerns, and wedding date so we can discuss the complexity of the work. We generally reply within 1-2 working days.
Made-to-Measure
Can I return my Made to Measure order?
No, as individual items are created based on your body measurements. The alterations to a Made to Measure order are complimentary. However, an upcharge might apply for severe body type changes.
What is the difference between MTM and Bespoke?
At Modernize Tailors, we aim to provide an exceptional traditional tailoring experience and promote the art of dressing.
We source MTM garments from our high-quality vendors. Bespoke items are entirely made in-store. Whether we source the garment from overseas vendors or make it in-store, 2-3 fittings are required for the final garment. The fitting process and the workmanship standard are the same.
Sourcing the garments from third-party suppliers helps customers stay within their budget. Making the garments in-store gives us more freedom in designs and styles, with a higher price point.
